Deputy Editor – Parliamentary Reporting Service (Hansard)

The Parliament of Tasmania invites applications from suitably qualified people for the full-time position of Deputy Editor – Parliamentary Reporting Service (Hansard) to assist in the provision of transcripts of the House of Assembly and the Legislative Council, and transcripts of public and private hearings of parliamentary committees.  The Deputy Editor provides direct support to the Editor of Debates in the provision of this service.

Salary is a banded classification in accordance with the State Service Award B7-R1-2 $104,409 per annum.

Appointment will be made by the Speaker and President acting jointly under the Parliamentary Privilege Act 1898 and will be initially for a three year period.

Conditions of the position broadly relate to those applying to State Service employees.
