ASPG Prize:

The University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Parliament jointly run the Parliamentary Internship Scheme. As part of the scheme university students undertake research projects for Members of the Tasmanian Parliament.

On completion the ASPG, in conjunction with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Tasmania), award a prize for the best research project.

The 2007 prizes were awarded to:

Jane Worrall

Mark Worley

The 2008 prize was awarded to:

Zoe Lippis

The 2009 prize was awarded to:
Nathan Bessell and Simon Febey.

National Conference:

The Tasmanian Parliament will host the 2017 National Conference.

Tentative dates for the conference are: Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 September 2017.

Conference theme: Engaging Parliament: Fostering Parliament’s relationship with its stakeholders.
