Welcome to my website. I hope you find it informative and that it provides you with opportunities and another means to keep in touch and communicate in areas which may be of interest to you. It is my philosophy to provide open and honest communication as stated "listening to you, working with you". I endeavour to provide accessibility to all constituents, believing that it is important to have close links between Community and Government. Because of recent changes to the Electoral Role boundaries by the Australian Electoral Commission I will have to say goodbye as a member to friends on the West Coast. I enjoyed my visits there and I am sure that I will stay in contact with them. I would like to welcome constituents in Bridgewater & Gagebrook. Having taught at Bridgewater High School, I feel as though I have an affinity with this area and look forward to working with you. In the North, Port Sorell, Wesley Vale and the Sassafras areas have been included in the Electorate of Lyons. These areas are growing very quickly and I look forward to meeting more constituents and helping to address the concerns that are raised. Heather Butler MP
