My Legislative Council colleagues and I occasionally undertake group tours of electorates to enable us to gain a good working knowledge of issues of importance throughout the state.

Recently a tour of the Rumney electorate was arranged. This tour gave us an opportunity to visit major tourism centres and industry in the districts of Port Arthur, Eaglehawk Neck, Sorell, Richmond and Dunalley.
