Legislative Council meets on
Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
Wednesday and Thursday
at 11.00 am.

SITTING
AND ADJOURNMENT OF THE COUNCIL

| 25. Unless otherwise ordered, the ordinary sitting times of the Council during a Session shall commence at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Tuesdays, and at 11.00 o'clock a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. | Ordinary Sitting times. |
| 26. Unless otherwise ordered, whenever the Council or a Committee of the Whole be sitting at 1.00 o'clock p.m. the sitting shall be suspended without a Question first put, until 2.30 o'clock p.m., and when the Council be sitting at 6.00 o'clock p.m. on a Tuesday the sitting shall be suspended without a Question first put, until 7.30 o'clock p.m., provided that, if at either of the said times a ballot or a Division shall have been ordered, the President or the Chairman of Committees as the case may be, shall not leave the Chair until such ballot or Division shall have been taken and any formal business immediately consequent thereon shall have been completed. | Suspension of sitting at 1.00 p.m. and at 6.00 p.m. |
| 27. Unless otherwise ordered, whenever the Council shall be sitting at 4.00 o'clock p.m., the sitting shall be suspended for thirty minutes, unless the sitting has been suspended for a like period during the preceding half hour on a Motion by the Leader for the Government in the Council. | Suspension of sitting at 4.00 p.m. |
