Family catch up at the Central
A group of dedicated people turned up tonight to remember and honour those who have been lost to suicide. Jeremy Rockliff unveiled “The Book of Life” in Burnie Park.
It was good too see the Ulverstone Community Centre officially re-open again yesterday. There was plenty of services on display. Anyone looking for help or advice are welcome to go for a visit .

The Leven Yacht Club had the official opening of the season this morning. Felix Ellis MP, Mayor Jan Bonde of the Central Coast Council and the Commodore Isaac Mearns were on hand to help. During the last flood they had some damage done, Joan Rylah helped them through the process of getting it fixed. Today was also the official opening of the new ramp and viewing area.
The Penguin Bowls Club held its awards night at the Penguin Sports and Services Club last night. I was very pleased to be able to help out. A good night for all
Penguin Football Club Pink Day went down well. @Casey Hiscutt and I were not too sure about the fairy though!!! Donna Miller was a very moving guest speaker as she talked about her breast cancer journey.
Visited @Art Moto 2020 this morning. Shaping up to be a good day. Nice to set so many people there at Pier01 in Ulverstone.
Big money spend starting on the Ulverstone Cultural Centre. The turning of the sod was done by the three tiers of government funding this great project. It will take about 18 months to complete and employ nearly 60 people. I’m here with Gavin Pearce MP, Jeremy P. Rockliff and Mayor Jan Bonde from Central Coast Council
