About the role
The Parliament of Tasmania offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Tasmania's democratic processes through the delivery of impartial, high-quality research and analysis.

As a Research Specialist within the Parliamentary Research Service, you will provide authoritative advice, briefings and research publications that support Members of Parliament, parliamentary committees and parliamentary officers in their scrutiny, debate and decision-making responsibilities. Working across complex policy and legislative issues, you will apply sound judgement, analytical thinking and professional independence to deliver accurate, balanced and timely research outcomes. You’ll be reporting to the Manager, Library and Research Services.
