Cessation of Committee Activity

On 11 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC (Governor of Tasmania), agreed to Hon Jeremy Rockliff (Premier) request to prorogue the Parliament and dissolve the House of Assembly and a State election has been called for 19 July 2025.

In accordance with our long standing practice and convention, all Committee activity will cease until the Parliament next meets and re-establishes the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Public Accounts (subject to the will of the Council or the Houses).
